A somewhat unusual opinion on one mediocre painter

Back in the early 20th century, there was this guy in Austria who had a fairly artistic nature. He sang in a choir when he was a little boy, and tried himself in various arts. He had a somewhat complicated relationship with his dad which made him a bit touchy and rebellious.

Anyway, when he turns 16, he comes to Vienna and tries himself as an artist. Twice he tries to enter the Fine Arts Academy, and twice he is found “unfit for painting”. In the end, he isn’t even allowed to study architecture. So what does he do? To be short, he goes and creates a party, comes to power, causes deaths of tens of millions of people and unprecedented devastation all around the world, and finally shoots himself in the head.

Now what I’m trying to say is: why in the blazing hell didn’t they just let him become a freakin’ painter?

You may argue now, but a lousy artist is still better that a brilliant dictator.

Needless to say, the story is told from a clone’s perspective. Continue Reading…

Roof Shoot

A couple of days ago, we made a glorious shoot at the roof of a new 25-floor building in Kiev. The sun was going down and a storm was gathering on the other side so the light was unique and amazing.

Here is a couple of teasers from this shoot:
